HRan establishment that offers to award a qualification for little or no work, often on payment of a large sum of money. Degree mills mostly operate on the edge of the law, often being unaccredited or unregistered as educational institutions. Most degree mills fail to offer any worthwhile education, and those that do lack the appropriate accreditation that makes their qualifications acceptable by employers, with the result that they award bogus degree certificates. -
